Himmatwala

Set in a village in the 1980s, a beloved and admired priest witnesses a murder committed by the local landlord. In order to prevent the truth from being exposed, the landlord frames the priest in an attempt to destroy his faith with the villagers.

Himmatwala is a 2013 Indian action comedy film directed by Sajid Khan and jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Vashu Bhagnani. The film features Ajay Devgan opposite Tamannaah in the lead roles. It is an official remake of the 1983 film, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao starring Jeetendra and Sridevi.
